2019年8月23-25日在陕西省西安市召开中国动物学会第十八届全国会员代表大会暨第二十四届学术年会。全国动物学专家、学者在此隆重集会，就动物学相关学科、交叉学科、新兴领域畅谈共讨......会议由中国动物学会主办，陕西省动物学会、陕西师范大学、陕西省科学技术协会、西北大学、陕西理工大学、陕西省动物研究所、延安大学、西安文理学院、陕西学前师范学院、陕西自然博物馆承办，中国科学院动物研究所协办；大会主题：新时代的动物学：学科交叉，创新引领；预计会议规模700人......

“The Eighteenth Member Congress of China Zoological Society and the Twenty-fourth Symposium” hold in Shanxi Xian from August 23 to 25, 2019, with more than 700 guests expected to be present. National zoological domain experts and scholars congregate here ceremoniously to share research results from the zoology related disciplines, interdiscipline subjects and emerging fields.

The conference is being convened by China Zoological Society. Hosted by Shanxi Zoological Society, Shanxi  Institute of Zoology, Shanxi Normal University, and Shanxi Assocoation for Science and Techinology, also with Northwest University, Shanxi University of Technology,Yan'an University, Xi'an University and Shanxi Xueqian Normal University. This meeting is  also co-organised with Institute of the Zoology Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The theme of the conference: The New Age of Zoology:  The Viewpoint of Interdisciplinary Leads Science New Ground.
